that I could see was right taking me

down ill pretty quick,
so I thought it was time to do something.

And that was a dramatic point in my life.

Always joked around, I said,
"When I think about going on a diet,

it makes me hungry."

You know, it was the joke, you know,
but I just needed some help,

what I needed.

this hump that was kind of holding them

When I have a meal, you know,
I'll only use a saucer,

and most of the time I don't finish it
all.

small amount of food and really be able

to stop, and able to keep the weight loss
going.

I was just getting to a point that I can see it was really taking me downhill pretty quickly. I thought it was time to do something. I know it was a dramatic point in my life. I always joked around. I said “When I think about going on a diet, it makes me hungry.” It was a joke, but I just needed some help, that’s what I needed.

Dr. Gore:
The number one way to lose a lot of weight and keep it off is bariatric surgery. Many people are able to change their lifestyle. After they get an operation, they’re then able to really control their portion size, they’re able to control their hunger urges, and they’re able to overcome this hump that was kind of holding them back.

Bailey:
